Mistake No. 1 – Believing that you need detoxing
Some professionals claim that there is no such thing as detoxing and that the body itself is cleansing and detoxing non-stop. Liver, kidneys, lungs and gastrointestinal tract – they are all cleansing organs and they are smacking down pathogens, detoxifying toxins and expelling pollutants every second of every day. Doctors suggest to follow a healthy, more plant-based diet, exercising regularly and getting enough sleep. Try these at first before anything else.
Mistake No. 2 – Don’t spent too much time on what NOT to eat
When detoxing, some foods are not to be consumed. Do not spend too much time on what not to eat. Doctors recommend taking in several servings of leafy greens, cruciferous vegetables (like broccoli), berries, raw nuts and seeds, and fresh herbs and spices each day. Just don’t overthink.
Mistake No. 3 – Juice detox plan
Drinking only juice is not enough during the detoxification process. There aren’t enough nutrients. Juice alone deprives your body of protein, healthy fats and adequate calories to function normally. Protein is necessary to help carry toxins through the body for elimination, and fats are needed to absorb fat-soluble vitamins. Plus, fats and proteins take longer to digest and will help stabilize your blood sugar, keeping you without cravings between meals.
Mistake No. 4 – Trusting the hype

They will just rip you off! So, these things are just spending money in vain.
